
Dr. Fernando González-Rojas joins Trade Pacts to support in Latin America

Geneva, Switzerland and Mexico City, Mexico – Jan 20, 2016 – International trade and investment law advisory firm, Trade Pacts, today announced the appointment of Dr. Fernando González-Rojas, a highly qualified lawyer and academic based in Mexico City, as strategic partner and Head of Latin America.
Before joining Trade Pacts, he gathered ample experience as a private practitioner providing legal advice to investors, governments and international organizations located in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. His past professional experience includes assisting American investors, like Metalclad and Marvin Feldman cases, in two important NAFTA investment arbitrations. Dr. González-Rojas worked on several important international trade disputes involving the European Union, the United States, and several Latin-American countries, as a dispute settlement lawyer at the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Secretariat. After finishing his Ph.D. on WTO anti-dumping law last year, he joined the academic teaching international trade law in Mexico City and Washington, D.C.
